Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2014
Set designer Stefan Beckman met with Marc Jacobs mere weeks before his fall show to brainstorm ideas for a set that would complement his designs. The result was a room filled with fluffy, cloud-shaped pillows suspended from the 110-foot ceiling of the Armory. Over the course of one weekend, Beckman’s team in Brooklyn used gray spandex sewn into different shapes and spray-filled with foam insulation to create 500 clouds that dangled above the heads of attendees while they viewed the dreamy, pastel collection.
